[justify]under the school are hogwarts dungeons, which are so large that the slytherin common room is directly under the lake. the dungeons are not the nicest place in the school, and most tend to steer clear. that is, unless you are a slytherin or a hufflepuff. both common rooms are located down here.

[justify]this is the first floor that is seen by anyone entering hogwarts, and it is rather fabulous. by far the fanciest floor of hogwarts, and most of the primarily used rooms are located on this floor.

[justify]the first floor of hogwarts is rather uninteresting compared to the other two. besides the bustling time between classes, it remains silent most of the time.

[justify]like the first floor, the second floor of hogwarts is rather dull. the only room on the floor that is not empty is a girls bathroom, however it remains unused by most because of the irritating ghost who occupies it. the entrance to the chamber of secrets is located here

[justify]while there are still classrooms located on this floor, the third floor is slightly more interesting than the two before it to those who know it's secrets.

[justify]the fourth floor is always quiet, not due to it's lack of people, but due to the people in it. with the library and the ancient runes classroom, this floor is for those who enjoy to study.

[justify]the fifth floor is the location of the prefects bathroom and the transfiguration classroom.

[justify]by most, the sixth floor is thought of as a rather empty, pointless floor. however, this is the floor the PAPER ANGELS hold meetings in, one a week.

[justify]the top floor of the school, and by far the most interesting to those who know it's secrets

[justify]the towers are the highest standing portions of the school, and were the reason why it took so long to rebuild. these towers are marvelous to see from a distance.

[justify]three years ago, the paper angels had an idea for a chatroom for hogwarts students to be created. faster than using owls, students can talk to one another in a similar fashion to muggle instant messaging. the spell Instant Nuntius allows a handheld magical device like a muggle laptop to appear. these devices ONLY work for the chatroom. also, only hogwarts students and staff may use this feature.

[justify]the home of hogwarts resident half giant gamekeeper. do not fool around his cabin, as you may not know what dangerous creature he may have this time.

[justify]the lake is said to be invested with many creatures, both good and bad. do not provoke the giant squid, as it can be quiet tempermental. the lake is black as night unless it is perfectly positioned under the sun.

[justify]herbology classes are held here. please do not enter the room without a professor, as the plants tend to be territorial

[justify]the forbidden forest is exactly what it is called, forbidden. please do not enter the forest for any reason what so ever. please keep in mind that two students have been found near death in there in the past recent years.

[justify]the pitch is a fantastic place to practice your flying. matches will also be held here as well. if you aren't a sports fan, support your house in the stands!

[justify]a very calm, peaceful area outdoors, the courtyard has many flowers growing in spring, and benches for students to sit down and enjoy the weather

[justify]this isn't a tree that one would like to sit under and have a nap. be aware that this tree will attack back. however, if you are brave enough, it could be used as a passage to the shrieking shack.

[justify]one of things that is brand new to the school since the rebuild is this well. it bears the names of each and every person who fought for the right side in the wizard war, as well as all those who sacrificed their lives to win.

[justify]Located at 93 Diagon Alley, it is a joke shop in owned by Fred and George Weasley. It sells practical joke objects, such as Extendable Ears, a Reusable Hangman, and Fred and George's special WonderWitch products, such as love potions and ten-second pimple remover.

[justify] A quidditch shop. Its main products are things having to do with Quidditch such as Quaffles, Bludgers, and broomsticks

[justify]One of the shops where students buy their pets and supplies.

[justify]Sometimes simply referred to as Madam Malkin's, it is a shop in Diagon Alley. Students get their Hogwarts school uniforms there, and also dress robes, travelling cloaks, and the like.

[justify]Gringotts is the only known bank of the wizarding world. It was created by the goblin Gringott. It is located in Diagon Alley and is owned and run by Goblins. In addition to storing money and valuables for wizards, one can go there to exchange Muggle money for wizarding money.

sells owls and things that will help owls, like Owl Treats. It sells a variety of breeds, including Screech, Barn, Tawny, Brown, and Snowy.

[justify]Ollivander's Wand Shop is the sole wand shop of Diagon Alley. Peeling gold letters over the door of the shop read: Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C.. The shop's display consists of a solitary wand laying on a faded purple cushion in the dusty window. The shop is tiny, empty except for a single, spindly chair in the corner. Thousands of narrow boxes containing wands are piled right up to the ceiling of the tiny shop, and the whole place has a thin layer of dust about it.

[justify]a recently opened club in knockturn alley, this place is bad news. however, teenage wizards and witches are drawn to the place with loud music and dancing promises. this is a place that should be avoided, but commonly isn't

[justify]everyone needs a place to go during the holidays. please pm one of the admins if you would like a board made with your character's home, with it's name and occupants.

[justify]the ministry of magic still deals with problems like it used to, however it is not greatly respected, despite their apologies to harry potter and his family. it is said harry has been offered the position of minister, but has yet to reply.

[justify]st mungos is the place to go if the hospital wing can't help you. only seriously ill or injured wizards and witches go to the healers of st mungos for help.

[justify]kings cross is the station that brings students to and from hogwarts. platform nine and three quarters is just beyond that wall!
