Dungeons. Jason didn’t hang out there much but nowadays he figured out that the empty dungeons were pretty quiet. He brought his notebook with him, he could scratch as long as he wanted to. Jason wore his cloak slightly, his eyes checked out the place for the last time. The common room was full of people, he just threw himself out of the room. Jason began to walk slowly, his footsteps echoed in the empty corridor. What a day, there was nowhere to rest a little bit. I bet the Black Lake wasn’t quiet either. It’d be better to walk along this corridor. At the end I know there’ll be somewhere quiet and I could just listen to the silence Jason thought to himself as walking along the corridor. He passed by a student, a Gryffindor. Jason rolled his eyes, he could say that she was a first. Gryffindors never hung out in the dungeons, everybody knew the reason.
Jason took a deep breath, the classes were getting harder. He just didn’t want to study but he had to. He should’ve had some help from a couple friends. He knew who that friend could be, the one who could help him. A smirk appeared immediately on his face, he shook his head slightly. Jason walked into the empty dungeons, he sat down by a door. It was locked so it wouldn’t bother him. There was a small spotlight above him, it would help him to see what he would scratch. I’m wondering where Brooke is or what she’s doing now. It’s been a couple days and I already missed that girl! It’s time to write her a small note to let her know where and when we should meet up. We’re in the same house but I see friends from other houses more than I see her. Funny thing Jason thought to himself as turning the notebook’s cover. Jason took out his quill, he always liked quills.
He did read the lines he had scratched the day before. The girl I don’t know even know her name, seriously who are you? You’re not popular, you don’t play Quidditch. You cannot be a fifth year because I haven’t seen you in any class I took. I don’t even know what house you are in Jason did read the lines. He chuckled, he liked that girl because she seemed different. People who are different from others always got his attention, he liked to observe them more than others. Jason began to write down, about that girl. He wrote one line, two lines, and three lines, at the end he saw that he wrote too much. His hand was aching a bit, he put his quill down on the notebook. He let his head rest on the wall behind him. His eyes were closed, he was just listening to silence. And of course he could hear the footsteps from there, they didn’t come from so far away.
Jason opened one of his eyes and tilted his head to side to see who was coming. A shadow appeared at the beginning of the dungeons. He raised an eyebrow and kept watching that person walking towards him. Jason closed his eye and acted like he didn’t hear anything, he acted like he was lost in thoughts. Maybe it would help him to be invisible and the person would just go through. The footsteps were getting closer and closer, his eyes were still closed and he was waiting for a different sound. Maybe it was somebody he knew but maybe not. I just hope it isn’t my brother, it would make my day worse than ever. I cannot stand his words now, but it’s been a week since we talked. Hmm Jason thought to himself.
