Lucy couldn't sleep for some odd reason. Still in her purple pajama pants and a black tank top and her hair was pulled up into a messy bun. She couldn't sleep for some odd reason. She just laid there in her bed starring up at the ceiling. She had taken down the curtains from her bed. She did not like them. She even took off the posts of the four poster bed and turned it into a regular twin size bed. She didn't care if anyone was looking at her while she slept. She did not like four poster beds for one spiders would crawl up them.
She decided it was worthless trying to fall asleep so she got out of bed and walked out of the dorm room and out of the common room and made her way over to the kitchen. For some odd reason her stomach was now growling with hunger and she thought maybe if she had something to eat it would make her tired! She decide she may as well try that and walked to where the kitchens were at and walked inside with a small smile on her face.
An house elf asked her if she wanted anything and she looked at him. "I'd like a glass of Milk and a plate of Chocolate Chip Cookies please!" she said with an small smile on her face. She was glad when the house elf came back with an plate full of Chocolate Chip Cookies and a glass of Milk for her to eat. "Thank you dear elf!" she said with a smile on her face. She sat there wondering if anyone was going to walk inside and join her for some midnight snack!

James walking around in his grey trousers and a red jumper, which was clearly made by his Gradmother Molly. Most of the kids had at least one, James however only had his on at night when nobody could see him. He walked down towards the kitchen holding his stomach, which was making growling noises since he forgot about dinner.
He walked through the door and noticed a girl standing there. He watched the house elves walking around the kitchens. He walked into th kitchen and sat on a stool near th girl and told the house elve he wanted a cheese sandwich. He then looked at the girl more again and then noticed it was his cousin Lucy, he had not seen her over the summer. " Oh Lucy, Hey" he said with a warm smile.

Lucy sat there with her cookies and her milk. She couldn't believe that she couldn't sleep that night. And it was probably beause of somethings were on her mind. One of them just happened to be about quidditch. She's played now for a couple of years now. She loved being the seeker don't get her wrong. She hadn't realized anyone walking into the Kitchen either. She of course hoped that it was not going to be a prefect but at least hoped not but if it was she was hoping it was James.
She jumped when she heard her name and she looked up. "Hey James how's it going?" she asked him for a moment. She knew she shouldn't have been out of be but she couldn't help it at all. She just couldn't sleep and her stomach had been grumbling of hunger. She did see his warm smile though and that did make her feel so much better. She enjoyed hanging out with him that was for sure.

He smiled watching Lucy eat her cookies and drink her milk. He noted that she was looking a little more older than the last time he had seen her. He hoped she never noticed grans jumper. He took a bite of his sandwich and then smiled at her.
" yeah ive been well, Hows you're lot? you're looking well, Hows my uncle?" he said with a smile and took another bite from his sandwich. He looked at Lucy and decided she looked alot her dad. He had more of the Potter look and didn't look much like his mum, apart from having his Mum and Grans Brown eyes. He asked the house elve if he could also have a glass of milk. He then remembered he was a prefect and was probably meant to give his Cousin into trouble.

Lucy looked at him for a moment with a small smile on hier face. She couldn't understand why she couldn't sleep at all. She sat there drinking her milk and eatting her cookies. She then wondered how her family members like Uncle Harry and them were doing. She looked at James for a moment. "My family is doing quite good actually. And your Uncle Percy is just as stubborn as usual and demands me getting good grades in every class which is impossible for Potions." she said with a small smile on her face.
She then looked at him for a moment. "I know you're a prefect which means you'll have to get me into trouble but I'm asking you as a cousin not to get me into trouble. I just couldn't sleep because my stomach was grumbling. You can say I came looking for you because I had a nightmare." she said with a small smile. "So we can say." she said with a small smile on her face hoping he'd go with the idea cause it could work as she had seen an house elf give him some milk. "Hey there house elf my I please have a Peanut Butter Sandwich?" she asked as the house elf hurried off to make the sandwich. "Grape jelly please." she called after it.

James laughed as he heard the girl talk about her dad. Percy was always stuborn for as long as James knew him. " Ahh no change there then, My dads the same i mad the mistake of telling them i wanted to be an Auror, Which obviously dad was over the moon with me following his foot steps and is insisting on me passing everything." He took a bite of his sandwich and looked up to the ceiling. He remembered how bad he was at potions also.
James raised an eye brow at his cousins suggestion. He took a seccond and listened to her bossing the poor house elve about who probably just wanted to finish his work. " Hmmm i doubt anyone will ask anyway so you're okay, this once though cuz!" He said as he passed his empty plate over to the elf at the washing up. " So Lucy, Where is Grandmas jumper? im sure she gave us all one?"

"I wish he'd lay off of my for a while on them grades. I've been doing the best I can." Lucy said with a small smile. Which was true the girl did her best in almost every class she does. Potions and History of Magic well that class usually puts her to sleep and she usually wakes up in time for the homework lesson. She looked at her cousin for a moment. "Well that one was your own fault for even saying so. But on the other hand from what I heard from Aunt Hermione your father didn't too well in some classes but still made auror." she said with a small smile on her face.
She looked out of the corner of her eye and saw him raised an eye brow. After the house elf scurried off and she heard him say just this once she just had to smile. "Thank you and I saw that raised of an eye brow. I wasn't bossing the house elf around I did use my manners by saying please." she said with a small smile on her face as the house elf came back with the peanut butter and grape jelly. "Thank you." she said as the house elf bowed and left. "I do know how to use my manners you know." she said with a smile on her face.
