Hadley was lying in bed when the last stream of sunlight left her window. It was an end to a very long day at Hogwarts, she had been hard at work all day trying to finish most of her homework between classes and in her spare time; she ate as fast as she could in all meals to make more time for homework. And she had just now managed to finish what she thought was a satisfactory amount, her brain going a bit haywire from all the work in one day. She wanted to get all this done to ensure she had plenty of time to practice quidditch tomorrow, she wasn't the best at it yet, but she wasn't the worst either. She smiled as she stretched out on her bed feeling very accomplished, just as her yawn ended she was in a deep sleep.
Hadley awoke the next morning as the sun started to stream in feeling very well rested and relaxed. She swung her legs off of her four poster bed and headed off to wash all of her dirtiness away with soap. She would usually use the Prefects bathroom but today she was making it quick. She was only gone from the girls dormitory for about ten minutes; she walked in and looked at the mirror, brushing out her hair before pulling it up to a long, tight ponytail. She smiled, feeling very confident today, and walked out of the Ravenclaw common room heading off toward the Great Hall for breakfast.
She took her time while eating this morning; savoring all of the wonderful tastes of the various foods she ended up putting on her plate. It was such a beautiful morning she could not wait to get on that field, but her mother always told her that,"Patience is a virtue my darling." she smiled at the thought of her mother as she swallowed the last drop of pumpkin juice. She was feeling very giddy now as she set off to the quidditch pitch, smiling widely all the way there.
She had her broom in her left hand and her club over her right shoulder as she walked out onto the field. She looked up toward the sky and took a deep, refreshing breath of air before letting the buldger go and kicking off of the ground. It was the perfect day for this, so clear she could swear she could see miles away. Still smiling she smacked the buldger into one of the goalposts at the end of the field as she waited for it to return...
after about an hour and a half of this she touched down on the ground and put everything away. She walked back out onto the field, it was surprising to her that no one else had taken the opportunity to come out here today. She shrugged and walked the the middle of the field and lied down, her hands underneath her head, taking full opportunity of being alone out there.
