Jason sat there at the table in the common room absolutely devastated. Not realizing it, he was constantly tapping his pencil on the paper in front of him. He couldn't handle it, his eyes were a dark red, along with his hair. He couldn't think straight, hell he couldn't even speak right. Setting his pencil down he put his hands on his face. He could barely keep the tears out of his eyes. What had happened, was too much for him to handle. He had known since he actually woke up. But it had just registered to him, he hadn't realized it before but he still liked her a lot.
He looked around at the common room, seeing a few people sitting talking happily. He saw one of them look at him with a worried expression then went back to talking. He went back to trying to either finish reading the book he needed to read. He sat there for at least 10 minutes before he couldn't stand listening to anyone. He stood up angrily and made a grunt of frustration and anger mixed.
He didn't think about what he was doing, just did it. He put his hands on the table he had been trying to work at pushing all of his books off of it. He could barely keep himself from crying, telling himself he wouldn't let himself cry in front of anyone else. He hit the table, leaning over it holding himself up with his arm. "Jason are you alright?" He heard the girl that looked worried at him ask obviously wanting to help him.
"I-I'm fine... I just need to be alone. Leave the mess and ill clean it up when I'm back." He said not looking at her, he grabbed a jacket and left. He didn't care how hot it was, he didn't want to be seen by anyone and be recognized when he was out there. He heard a beep from his pocket, realizing what it was he couldn't tell if it was rage or just sadness but he wanted it gone he never wanted to see it again. Stepping outside he pulled the object from his clothes.
He saw why it beeped and felt a tear go down his cheek. Whipping the phone at the ground he pulled out his wand. He muttered the spell, Reducto watching the phone get blasted. He saw small pieces of it and picked it up, putting it in all one pile he muttered Incendio watching the pieces ignite. After letting them burn for a minute he stomped on them putting the small fire out.
He walked the grounds for a minute his hair changing from the dark red to a dark green, along with his eyes. There was a mix of emotions, there was sadness along with jealousy inside him. He finally got to know one person that seemed to love him and she was torn out of his life. He walked over to the memorial well, finally realizing how horrible it was to lose someone you loved. He started talking to himself, "Why do i even care? Its not like we were still together, she broke it off because I'm going to a stupid school so i couldn't see her usually. Why do i even care anymore?" He knew the words werent entirely true, they had planned on getting back together during the summer and after his seventh year.
They had even talked about being married one day. At the memories he sat next to a tree still rather close to the memorial well, so he could still see it clearly and almost make out the words on it. Pulling the jacket on, keeping it to where you would have had to be rather close to him to realize it was him he sat there upset. He let himself cry, feeling the tears on his cheek. He knew that whatever part of his eyes weren't colored, were probably red from his crying. He let his mind wander with the memories, absolutely oblivious to the world around him. He hadn't reached the point of crying where they were uncontrollable tears, they were still just going down his face one after another.
He remembered the first time he met her, in his mind she was perfect. He remembered their first date like it was yesterday. He took her to see some cheap stupid movie yet they both ended up loving it just because of the memory of it being their first date. He loved her, and some stupid drunk driver had to take her out of his life and her families life. He had to go and kill her didn't he? Jason wasn't sure to be glad for the guy or angry at him for being alive still. One thing was for sure though, if Jason ever saw him he might have killed the dude where he stood.
