she whispered, a sad smile tugging at her pink lips. Vic sighed and sat down, looking up at all the names etched into the well's stone. They were all important, all brave. She hoped that if it came down to it, she could be just like them.Victoire had a lazy saturday. It was the first Saturday at Hogwarts, and she had well deserved the sleeping in portion. The week had gone by super slow, which only added to the drama of getting to know new expectations for courses and the like. Toire hated getting to know what was required of her in order to perform well. She seemed to think that courses should have no requirements, other than do the work and get the credit for it. Vic finally rose from her bunk, showered, then dressed. She dried her hair quickly, then let it hang in wet waves, knowing it'd curl by the time it was dry. She snugged into a pair of jeans, a grey tank, and a grey and crimson cardigan. Toire slipped into her gold sandals then headed out of the common room.
Her intentions were to eat lunch, but she had realized upon waking that it was that time between breakfast and lunch. Too late for breakfast, too early for lunch. She sighed, concluding she would just have to wait. Instead, Victoire decided to take her mind off of food and head down to the memorial well. It always got her thinking about things, and that was what she needed that day. At least, for the time being.
Victoire traveled through the castle, chatting with a few people on the way to the grounds. She knew quite a few people, as one normally would after going to school with them for six years. She yawned as she hit the ground floor, stretching her arms into the air. Toire smiled to herself and skipped along to the well. She reached it, finally, without any more disruptions. She stared at it, running her finger across the name that meant the most to her heart. "Uncle Fred...I wish I could have met you,"
She would have to be, really, if something happened again. She would have no choice. She was the leader.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
