ONE - first things first, shall we. thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read the rules. we really appreciate it, because without rules there would be no order and every is better with order, are we right? well back onto the rules, we think that it would be best if you were to respect us, your admins and your fellow members as well. what good is a place to come and have fun if you feel threatened or disliked. ohh, and another key concept, if you do dislike someone for any reason at all, please keep it to yourself. don’t role-play with the person, what ever the beef is, just keep it to the down low, you know what i’m saying. recap; respect

TWO - adding onto the rule above, if you cannot get along with that person, please please please do not fight or argue with that person. it looks bad on the site, and one of you could get hurt, emotionaly or mentally. if there is a disagreement please bring up with us admin. we deal with these types of things on a daily basis. we can help, trust and believe. recap; no fighting

THREE - this forum is beginner to intermediate, meaning we welcome people of all role-playing levels. whether they are just starting out or have been at the game for a while. there is no specific word count on her because personally we think that a word count discourages potential members. all that we ask here are two simple things, could you please try for a decent two paragraphs. that to us would be five lines of writing at size 1, multiplied by two, because it all just looks better that way. and please no one liners, lack of muse will not help you here, i get that maybe you just started role-playing today, congratulations, but after three and a half years of it, i learned that if you set goal and achieve them, it makes you better. recap; two paragraph min

FOUR - there isn’t a lot of things that we frown upon here, if you mess up a few time and cant write a paragraph, we will help you. we are glad to help you, except we really hate godmoding. what is godmoding you may ask, it is when you take control of another character without their creators consent. we very muchly frown upon that, because it is annoying and makes liviah want to shoot infant puppies. do it for the puppies, do not god mod. recap; no godmoding

FIVE - one other thing that is frowned upon here is power-playing. this is basically where your character is acting like God. we don’t like that, nobody is perfect and nobody knows everything. we like our characters to be a little odd, maybe your persons clumsy or she had a really odd habit. we don’t care, but please don’t make them perfect, it’s annoying, seriously. we hate mary-sue’s and gary-stue's so don’t make them, they’re really bad and i haven’t met one person that actually likes them. recap; power-playing equals hate

SIX - this site is rated pg-13 it is not a rule that was made by any of us admins, it is the proboards terms of service. so what does that mean? nothing that would be considered inappropriate for people thirteen years old. here we would like it if your planning on joining please be over the age of fifteen, so we know that you have at least a sliver of maturity. it is nothing against the youngins, but we would prefer a more mature environment. recap; PG-13

SEVEN - you know those lovely graphics that run around here. well we would really appriciate it if those didn't stretch the page. because if it does then, we will take them down. you know that that means? a lot of extra work that we really shouldn't have to do. our icon size is 150 by 200. and out signature max is 500 in length. recap; pretty graphics

EIGHT - the character limit here is FOUR characters per person. one of these characters at least, must be the opposite gender of the other three. same thing with houses. we do not want people running around with four slytherin characters, keep it even. if you feel you can handle a fifth character, pm an admin once your other four characters have reached at least 20 posts each, and we will evaluate whether or not you have been active enough to deserve a fifth. this is a one character per account site. in addition, after your second character has been created, both character must be in a thread before a third may be made. recap; four characters per person, one character per account, two characters in threads before a third.

NINE -ALL CHARACTERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN LEAST AN AVATAR OR SIGNATURE. having both would be great, but at least do one or the other. it really does help the people you are rping with picture who they are taking to. if you do not know where to get photos, caution 2.0 is a great place to look. recap; have an image

TEN -the last and final rule is to have fun here. isn't that the point of roleplaying? that you have fun while doing it. recap; have fun
