until a year ago, it was thought that the lestrange's were done. that they would die out, and the name would disappear forever, something that the wizarding world would not mourn. rabastan lestrange had never had any children, and he was the final lestrange to walk the earth. or, so it was thought.

one year ago, the truth came out. well, what the wizarding world believes is the truth. rabastan had a one night stand in a bar that ended with a pregnancy, fourty years ago. it was hidden from everyone, and the girl took the baby and left him alone, as he requested. he never heard from her again, until a mysteious dark haired teenager appeared on his doorstep, claiming to be his grandson. the boy told him that his parents had died, and that his grandmother lived inside a nursing home, unfit to care for him. so rabastan took him in and enrolled him in hogwarts. that was the story, although it is absolute bullshit. the true one is much shorter, and a lot less lame. "phoenix thomas lestrange" does not exist. instead, he is a reincarnation of tom riddle the second, or, more commonly known as lord voldemort. he was brought back on a mistake made by the paper angels, and therefore still has his memories.

in his old life, voldemort was described by others as; blood thirsty, rasist, evil, power-hungry and sadistic. his top goal was to become immortal, because his biggest fear was death. his boggart would be his own dead corpse. he was unable to understand love, and that was what eventually brought him down in the end. in his new life, he is very much the same. however, his fear of death has become even large, now that he has experienced the feeling of living in hell. phoenix experiences nightmares of his time in hell, and it refuses to be obliviated from his mind. this makes him feel weak, and even angrier at the potters. when he takes over hogwarts, he plans to kill harry potter and his family slowly.

phoenix is not a nice person. his ultimate goal is to kill muggles and mudbloods alike, to cleanse the world into a completely pure, magical state. he will not let anyone get in his way, and will kill anyone who tries to stop him. this is why he is a co leader of the wicked wands. this organization is made to take over the world slowly, starting with hogwarts. it is co-owned by phoenix and marsallia black, the reincarnation of salazar slytherin himself. marsallia and phoenix have different ways they want to own the group. while phoenix is blood thirsty and excited to kill, marsallia does not want to give away their existance to the paper angels. the two do not get along and often argue, which commonly leads to a duel or physical fight. phoenix doesn't care if salazar is a girl, he'll hit him...her...whatever, anyway.

along with being ruthless, phoenix has a temper. he will yell at whoever happens to bother him, and it does not take much to get him irritated. the wicked wands are very afraid that he will give himself away and get himself killed, because of this temper. he is very over the top in every emotion now, he becomes addicted easily. for example, there hasn't been a day since he has come back where he has not lit a cigarette, or had a drink of alcohol. he doesn't know how to control himself in this young body, and overdoes it on everything. he doesn't understand that he is no longer immortal and has no horcruxes. all he feels is emptiness inside, like pieces of his soul disappeared when in actuality, it is all together again, just in one piece.

the dark hair is the only physical simularity that phoenix has to his old body. he is thinner, less muscular in this life, and his eyes are brown. many find him very attractive, and the way he can easily charm people makes him one of the most sought after males in the school. his teenage body is raging with horomones, and phoenix does not know how to keep them in check. this leads to many, many one night stands with girls from his house and ravenclaw. they just have to be attractive, and not a mudblood. not many qualifications.

phoenix hates everything. it would be much easier to say the few things he does enjoy than to list what he dislikes. the highest on that list is those who do not listen to orders, muggles, mudbloods, failures, gryffindors, quidditch, pretty much everything most people would be fine with. the few things he does like are cigarettes, sex, alcohol, the colours black, silver and green, snakes ( he has a new one, named basil), slytherin girls, marsallia (he just doesn't know it yet), murder, the smell of blood, the dark arts, manipulation and power.
