The rain was pouring. And by pouring, it meant that the rain was falling, hard. Unfortunately for Dahlia, she was outside and walking at the time the rain started to fall to the Earth. At first, when she felt the water hit her head, she didn’t think much about it. She thought that maybe it would just sprinkle, but no, it started to get harder and faster, making her not only flip out about getting wet, but pissed off that she had to be out during it. All she wanted to do was walk around Hogsmeade without any people, distractions, or problems. Of course for her, she had to run into some type of problem. She was Dahlia. Her life was crap and at the moment was only getting worse. What was she supposed to expect? Rainbows and butterflies? No, the day had to match her current mood, which was crabby. No pun intended.
Earlier, when she left Hogwarts, she was expecting the day to be quite pleasant. She thought she'd be able to have a nice time strolling around Hogsmeade. Maybe she would meet someone new or see one of her friends. Anything was better than being cooped up inside to do nothing. Dahlia didn't have a lot of friends and her closest friends, aside from Fred Weasley, were in Slytherin. She didn't really try to make friends either, because if she were to make too many outside of her group, they'd probably be disappointed in her. That's why she stuck to Slytherins. Because those were the people her friends got along with and they were the people that would keep her on top. That was also the reason why Fred was a friend in secret. None of her friends knew that she was friends with him and she didn't feel bad at all. At least, not about keeping such a secret from her friends. The only reason she felt bad was the fact she was being that way to Fred. Usually they say if you're a true friend, you wouldn't be ashamed of that person. Dahlia was no where near ashamed of Fred, she was just scared of her friends. And he understood that, which made him all the better to have as a friend.
Anyway, she was wandering around Hogsmeade, soon making her way to the path to reach the shrieking shack. She wasn't sure if she was actually going to go in it, or just check it out from the outside. But, of course, once it started raining all she wanted to do was get indoors and that shack was the closest thing to getting dry. So with that, she ran inside, not even thinking about the fact that the place was known as haunted. As soon as she was inside she could feel goosebumps forming on her arms. She had no clue what she was going to find in there. Deciding to just risk the rain and find a different place she turned to leave, not knowing that a person had entered behind her. A scream escaped from her lips and her hand lashed out, slapping the newcomer across the face in defense.
OOC: hey, if you don't like the fact that i said she slapped her just tell me haha.. i will definitely change it.

You know how they say that when you go outside and its raining, to walk? Because you'll get less wet? Well, today, it wouldn't have made much of a difference walking or running. The rain was coming down so hard that honestly not even the greatest charmer in the world could use a spell strong enough to block off the torrential downpour. Not that it mattered much to one specific girl, she was safely under the cover of the Shrieking Shack, wandering around.
She wasn't psychic, and she prayed to the higher power that she'd never be. From what she understood, it was a difficult path to be on, never being able to go without seeing something happening, or something dead and haunting. And apparently, the Shrieking Shack was full of dead haunting things that loved to terrify the visitors of it. Gabrielle wasn't very frightened by it, but when she had walked up behind a girl and gotten slapped, that frightened her. The hit was so forceful that it knocked Gabby over onto her side. She shrieked, (the shack could be true to its name sometimes) and tears bubbled up by her eyes. She didn't even know why she was getting slapped, other than the fact that the other girl was probably as frightened as Gabby felt right now.
"Wh...What was t-t-that for?" Her stutter was there...Damn it! It never seemed to go away, unless if she was truly comfortable with who she was with. Which meant practically no one. Her mother and father, obviously, but that was about it. Everyone else made her feel nervous and awkward and spazzy...not that she wasn't really, because she was. More than anyone ever really figured out. There was one new person in her life that she didn't mind, Lysander. He was pretty sweet, and far more outgoing that she ever could be. Which made her feel sad, because she wanted to be outgoing and accepted, but it was so difficult.
"I...I'm s-ss-ssorry if I s--ss-s-scared you....I'll l-l-leave now." She said, standing up, shaking to the core. She was mentally preparing herself to get yelled at by the girl, who looked like she was about ready to bite the head off of the legendary three headed dog that apparently used to live at Hogwarts. Gabby was very up to date on all the rumors and legends of Hogwarts, not that there was really anything else to do for her, she was always alone. There were few times that she actually had something going on, other than classes and dining times. Even then she normally had a book open next to her dinner-plate, and open seats around her. No one really wanted to hang out with her, she was an outcast among many levels.
Gabby's hair was a dark black right now. It was because she was so scared to get hit again. She wasn't very tough, and never had been. It was the French side of her. She was always petite, and nothing, not even her metamorphagi abilities could change that. She'd tried to get more muscly, but even with working out, it never seemed to work. She had stayed thin through out it all, which was completely ridiculous, she had just learned to accept it.
