why hullo there! my name is mia, and i'm one of the admins here at FLY LIKE PAPER! currently, i play phoenix thomas lestrange and theodore remus lupin, although i will definitely end up having more characters because i have a severe case of uncurable multicharitis. i'm fifteen years old, have been rping since i was ten (began on neopets and worked my way up), and i rp in post potter sites, glee, supernatural and occasionally i go for real life although it is usually something like a band rp, or an asylum. i'm canadian (yupyup, loving that maple syrup) and i'm really into drama. my goal is to become an english/creative writing, drama, and possibly history teacher in secondary school.

i'm going to end up babbling here because i and really wide awake, and bored...and it's late at night and i can't sleep. so, this might be long..full of long lists of stuff. lots of stuff you probably don't really need to know but, will anyway.

name, margie - well, that's what i go by online. no one needs to know my real name, i have a bazillion nicknames so, yeah.

age, ...i'm old. we will leave it at that. twenty-four

characters here, cora elizabeth creevey & matthew flynn macmillan. i probably won't make anymore anytime soon with summer being nearly over and i'll be heading back to college. what fun.

rp experience for the past 12 years i have been role playing, so i was like..12. wow, that seems like forever ago. i think i started in yahoo chat rooms to be honest. then, i discovered proboards & if and i haven't left since. literally, i haven't left. i've been role playing for 12 years straight, never taking breaks. ridiculous, right? yes. i've rp'ed various different things: charmed, harry potter (various generations), real life, asylum, and i currently have a super hero/special ability type board that i've made with my sister because we are writing this book series..and i'll tell you later about that.

favourite hp characters: severus snape & percy weasley. snape is just fu..you know, i swear a lot. too much. i'm going to try not to. snape is a beast. end of story. (i cried for hours after i read deathly hallows. hours. and i most definitely cried from snapes death to the end in DH pt. 2 because of snape...and alan rickman is just god. i like percy because..well, he's in idiot and but, realized the error of his ways.

homeland, i live in wisconsin, the real dairy state. ...yes, i like cheese, and beer, and food on a stick...not necessarily in that order. i've lived here all my life and probably will never leave, unless i get my dream jobs (although one is really unrealistic).

dream jobs, since i just mentioned it, i'll just say it so i don't forget. dream job #1: work in the smithsonian museum in washington d.c. dream job #2: actress. dream job #3: author whose book series is turned into fantastic movies because i'd be completely involved, and in them. >.<

current studies, i'm in college. i took time off of school after high school and then other life things got in the way. (you'll see later). i'm studying public history - which is essentially a bachelor's in history, and then you get to be a tour guide in museums. and eventually i want to get my masters or doctorates, so i can be a curator and do cool stuff like find lost treasure behind lincoln's head in mount rushmore. =P i really like u.s history, because frankly it's the shortest but, i like european and ancient history as well (mainly england, france, and egypt). oh, i'm taking a french minor as well.

random fact, i was diagnosed with cancer two weeks before my 21st birthday three years ago. i had rare ass from of non-hodgkin's lymphoma. after a surgery, and 6 weeks of radiation therapy (i had to wear this hannibal lector type mask, i wish i would have kept it. =/ ) i was cured. the form i had is really rare, like only 5% of people with non hodgkins get it and i had a 95% survival rate. it's like a super, super, super, super slow progressing so i caught it really early. everyone asks what it's like and honestly, i felt fine the entire time. i just had some skin burn, i lost my voice for a bit, and i had less energy - all normal side effects of the treatment. but, really, when someone has cancer - do not ask them how they are everday. most annoying question ever. =]
favourite actors, #1 christian bale ...the rest all are all tied. xD ... cillian murphy, alan rickman, joseph gordon-levitt, gary oldman, john wayne, robert downey jr, leo decaprio, shia lebouf, harrison ford, george clooney, michael caine, tom hardy, elijah wood, ...and there's probably more i'm just drawing a blank

favourite actresses, ...pft (this list is small)..marion cotillard, glen close, sienna miller and, yeah...short list. idk, i just like actors more but, there are plenty of brilliant actresses out there.

favourite musics, i'm not even going to list artists. i listen to a lot of film score soundtracks. my fav. composer is hans zimmer. he's done batman begins, the dark knight, potc #3, inception, and others. i like musicals but, the only musical soundtrack i have is of sweeney todd. i listen to a lot of classic rock, alternative rock, nine inch nails (they have their own stlye i guess), and indie rock. my music tastes really vary.

favourtie movies, puh, i'm not even going to start this. it will never end. no lie. i absolutely love, love, love, movies. i usually end up getting super absorbed into them, the plot line and characters alike. it's pretty ridiculous. i'm a sap when it comes to movies and i usually cry when i'm sucked into a film. like, if the actor/ress is good enough, and i feel their character, i get over emotional about it. this is why i'd make a great actress - i can really get into character. i guess role playing has definitely helped with that. most certainly.

random fact #2, my movie collection (dvd & vhs...yeah, vhs. i still have those from back in my day. xD ) is huge. i can't even tell you how many i have. i have lots and i've watched them all.

fandoms, HP (obviously..and at unhealthy levels), syfy stuff, comics (mostly marvel but, some of the other guys too), transformers (the movies were a fail..except shia <3), tron, batman, video games, films, and stuff.

random fact #3, i'm currently putting together a novel, which the idea has not spun into a series of 6 books, with one side book that doesn't count in the series. i'm writing them with my sister. we figure, if crap like twilight could be published, our stuff most definitely will. it's going to take awhile because we want to do it right..like have all our plots tied up and everything.

random fact #4, i have two dogs. one is a rat terrier that we rescued from a shelter. her name is tammy and she is the most temperamental, attention whore dog i've ever met. she is about 2 years old. my other dog is koko, he's 9. he's a pappion/chihuahua mix. he's brown - hence the name. he's my old man.

random fact #5, i have a younger sister who will be 18 in a few months. she's my bff.

random fact #6, i might lack coordination (i'm so clumbsy. i could never be a ninja =[ ) but, i'm musically talented. i play french horn, flute, piccalo, trombone, trumpet, and i'm teaching myself violin (which is hard to do). i attempted to teach myself piano but, gave up on that shit. i play in a summer band and a winter/spring orchestra. in orchestra we are playing the score from potc #3 and i'm bloody excited! horn solo's because i am so taking first part! and it's hans zimmer music. <3

other facts, i'm generally lazy at home. i tend to not put stuff away, and then my room gets messy, and then it stays like that until i pretty much can't walk through it...and then i clean it. unless company is coming or i just get really disgusted with myself. oh, i'm also a spelling/grammar nazi. i can't help myself. so, sorry ahead of time if i go all nazi on you.

My Fav HP movie is the last one, I just thought it was fantastic and cried alot! LOL. and My Best characters are Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood and McGonagall. I love Neville cos he is so stupid like me lol, Luna is crazy and i love it!! And McGonagall was a rebel in the last film! BOOOOM!
