it was definitely late. too late for her to be out, really. if she got caught, it would be detention for sure. but she couldn't sleep. she let her feet be her guide as she wandered the castle aimlessly. what to do? where to go? she didn't know, so she just went. what she did know what that she was going to regret this in the morning. classes started early, and unless you had an excuse from the nurse for missing them, you would be in trouble. she ran a hand through her messy hair and stopped when she realized where her feet had taken her. the memorial well. she looked up at all the names, there were so many. there wasn't a witch or wizard alive who didn't know the story of how harry potter and his friends had defeated voldemort that fateful night. she sighed deeply. this was a place of both sadness and happiness. so many people had lost their lives fighting for what was right, but in the end they triumphed. their lives had not been lost in vain... or had they? she thought of what the paper angels had unintentionally done. they'd only wanted to help.. but..
some things just weren't meant to messed with. she walked up to the wall and ran her fingers over the names that had been carved in it. once again her thoughts ran to the muggles. these names had been carved with magic, and the font was beautiful and neat.. but when muggles wanted to do something like this, they had to fire up their machines to get it done, and before that they had to do it by hand. muggles. she felt bad for them. they were such interesting creatures, intelligent, so much like herself. they didn't deserve to live the life they did. they all deserved magic.. everyone did. she stood silently as her eyes ran over name after name on the wall.
