born into the abercrombie family, mackenzie, also known as kenzie or alli if you go by her middle name, grew up in the wizarding world as a supposedly half-blood witch when in fact, she was the reincarnation of pureblooded witch alice longbottom. of course she doesn't know this due to the fact her memories of her past life were swiped. mackenzie was born on may twenty-ninth and is fifteen years old. this would put her in her fifth year at hogwarts. but we'll get to that later. so, mackenzie was born into this family and everything was pretty much normal growing up. as normal as any wizard family could be. well, actually, that's not completely true.

mackenzie is a very intelligent young woman. even at a young age she was reading things that were more mature and above her level. and when it came to studies, her grades were almost perfect. it was hard to understand what she was doing to remember everything she was learning. it was rare that a student could do something like that. there was a simple explanation for it though. kenzie had photographic memory, which means she can study something for a few seconds and remember every detail of it. this could be information or a picture of some sort. knowing that she could do this, would later lead to trouble in the classroom.

like every other magical student, mackenzie recieved her acceptance letter at age eleven. she was happy about it, but she wasn't overexcited like most. she knew that young witches and wizards usually looked forward to going to this school, but she didn't. sure, she wanted to go, but she wasn't jumping with joy. the main reason for wanting to go was the fact she would be meeting new people. being an only child was pretty boring at times. and then she had her distant cousins that didn't live too far away, but she wasn't always around them. she wanted to make new friends and get out of her family limits. that was what excited her the most, if anything. the fact that she would be studying magic, didn't phase her. she wanted to grow as a witch and later on become an auror, but learning came easy to her, so there was no excitement in it whatsoever.

upon arrival to the school, she was sorted into gryffindor. apparently it was the house for bravery and chivalry. seemed like the perfect house for this one, but it was a battle between gryffindor and ravenclaw. she didn't know why she wasn't sorted into ravenclaw, seeing as she was intelligent, but at the same time it made sense, because studies were not her first priority. so, she was happy with what she was in. in her opinion, either one was good enough. she didn't want slytherin, because she wasn't too fond of that house, though she wouldn't avoid you if you were in that house, and hufflepuff just seemed too babyish for her. seriously, the name just screams, babies, right here. so, she was perfectly content with the house she was placed in.

anyway, mackenzie's first year was actually pretty swell, compared to other students. she wasn't bullied much and she got along with a lot of the others. you could say she was more popular with the crowd. but this was because of her outgoing personality. she was just everywhere, hanging out with everyone. she even had some slytherins as friends. it was hard not to like her. she was one of the laid back types as well. it wasn't easy to put her down or make her angry. the only way to set her off quickly was to mess with her friends or family. if you picked a fight with her or bullied her in the slightest, she'd just walk away laughing or even laugh at you to your face. fighting was pointless, unless it was totally necessary. people like that amused her. what pleasure did they get from hurting people or putting them down? it was stupid really.

now here is where trouble started. mackenzie kept her grades high. she always got good grades on assignments and tests, but during class, she wasn't always there. physically she was, but mentally, nope. kenzie loved to stay up late and sometimes she'd find a way to sneak out to a late night party or whatnot. so, during the day was when she liked to sleep, which meant, she would sleep through class. this earned her many detentions even if she could keep up with her work and grades. she didn't understand seeing as she was retaining the information and she was one of the smartest students in her year, but she just shrugged it off and did her time. you know that saying, if you can't do the time don't do the crime? that was one of her mottos, along with sleep all day, up all night.

this girl right here, was also addicted to fun and adventure. she loved to try new things and go crazy. even if it was dangerous, she'd give it a shot. maybe it was the adrenaline rush that kept her going. she must have liked that feeling. she was just up for pretty much anything. a lot of her friends happened to be of the male species too, so she liked to do whatever the guys were doing. of course as long as it was female capable. there were a couple things she'd rather not be around for, if you know what i mean. but seriously, she was not one to be all dirt phobic or something. she had no problem with getting down and dirty. she also didn't have a problem with pranking people. they were just harmless jokes she would play, along with her friends. most of the time she wasn't causing trouble like that, but that didn't mean she wouldn't do it if a friend asked her to. it could be pretty funny. there were the few that like broke down though. that made her feel bad and she would apologize, but she laughed when it pissed people off.

well, now she is in her fifth year and she's still up to no good, but still keeping up with her studies, even though it comes natural to her. she's made a lot of close friends and some enemies as well. but who doesn't? there's always someone who doesn't like you. oh well. she doesn't consider herself very close to her family anymore. of course, she probably gets along with her cousin jayson more than amelia, but that's because they have more in common. whatever, let's just see what happens.
