Evie has not had a terribly lovely past -- she's sort of been stuck in the middle of a war that's been between her eldest and only sibling, her sister, and her parents. Evie very much loves both of them, but has never been given the chance to really speak out and say who she is. Imagine her surprise when she, a muggle-born girl, recieved a letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy? Being an eleven-year-old, it was the only real thing she could latch on, some proof that she was maybe different. Something that would set her apart, give her a voice.

Despite her appearance of being so innocent and softspoken (and even though a little part of her truly is like that) Evie fell in with a good crowd of people, and soon found that they were bringing out risks in her. And she found that she loved the adrenaline rush that some of those risks brought. She may be dubbed as a Hufflepuff for her loyalty and ability not to be swayed; however, she soon found that she very much fit into the magical world, and used Hogwarts as an excuse to push all her family worries from her head, remove any pointless guilt from herself, and just enjoy her time being a careless, reckless teenager.
